2005 Meander Cabernet Sauvignon

Vineyard Sources: 50% Morisoli Vineyard in Rutherford
50% Lewelling Vineyards in St. Helena

Both of these vineyards have been family farmed for generations and the fruit is highly sought after by those winemakers making hand crafted Cabernet Sauvignon from the Napa Valley.

Aged in 100% French Oak, 75% of which is new, for 22 months. Primary coopers are Sylvain, Seguin Moreau and Vicard.

Winemaker tasting notes: 2005 Meander is a powerful wine exhibiting layers of sweet fruit, rich chocolate and hints of minerality with a fleshy, lingering finish. The wine continues to increase in density and the licorice character intensifies as it ages in the bottle. Released March 7, 2008.

Morisoli Vineyard in Rutherford consistently produces a deep and expressive Cabernet Sauvignon rich in “Rutherford Dust” qualities. Meander Morisoli Vineyard showcases ripe black fruits, licorice characters and a classic mineral quality. It has a strong sense of Terroir – sometimes referred to as “Rutherford Dust”. The finish is smooth and long with well resolved tannins.

Aged in 100% New French Oak, including Taransaud and Nadalie Colbert

Winemakers’ tasting notes: Morisoli Vineyard *AKA* “Liquid Rutherford Dust”. Meander Morisoli Cabernet is packed with intense currant, espresso and licorice notes; the wine is well structured and built to last.

Aged in 100% French Oak, 65% of which is new, for 20 months. Primary coopers are Sylvain, Seguin Moreau and Vicard.


Winemaker tasting notes: 2004 Meander shows the ripeness and intensity of the vintage with style and balance. Inky black in color with aromas of black berries, coffee, dark chocolate and licorice. Richly bodied Rutherford dust qualities with well resolved tannins and lengthy finish. Release is slated for spring of 2007.
